The £300,000 garage
A 20ft by 9ft garage in Chelsea is being offered for sale at £300,000, well over the £133,950 that the average first-time buyer pays for a property.
24 7 Parking’s Mark Grantham was cited in The Times as saying that “Freehold, lock-up garages are particularly attractive because they are secure, and considered a stable investment. Lock-up garages are suitable for storage of all kinds — this adds to their value.”
